Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

 

This morning I made these muffins off allrecipes.com for my kids. I've reposted the recipe below with a few very minor changes. These muffins are easy and delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas
  • 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugars, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In another bowl, combine the egg, oil, sour cream, milk, and vanilla. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in bananas and chocolate chips. Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups half full. Bake at 350 degrees F for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks.
